There is a place beyond Razorback Hollow where the deep woods dirt roads lead to an isolated community of characters. One such fellow... er, fellows are Cletus and Shorty Greeley. It was believed that the brothers would not survive infancy, yet they grew to be quite powerful. Although intelligence is not among their assets, they seem to be quite self-sufficient and get along fine in the small community that has known and accepted them since birth.

It was a double tombstone of two brothers in an old country cemetery bearing the name of Greeley that inspired the first incarnation of Cletus and Shorty Greeley, “Cletus & Shorty Play Checkers”.  Garnering the Gold Award in the dimensional category of Spectrum 11, they soon moved in with a collector on the west coast.  Being two of my favorite characters, I had to bring them to life again as “Cletus & Shorty Play Banjo”.  As unworldly as these two may appear, the banjo players found their way to the MEFIC in Portugal. In 2011, I created "Cletus & Shorty Hunt Snipe".
